Fête de la Musique began in Paris as a musical celebration to kick off the summer and is now held in over 700 cities around the world. In association with The Alliance Francaise and the Phoenix Sister Cities, Fete de la Musique comes to Phoenix at the Nash, featuring an array of local musicians performing a variety of styles. ZAZU was formed in Jan of 2005 by Steve Douglas of Artists in Rhythm to carry on the tradition of Django Reinhardt, originally called Musette, we added Larry Czarnecki in 2007 for Tlaquepaque concerts and changed the name to ZAZU….We have been featured at community fairs, wine fests, Sedona International Film Festival, concerts, private parties, Jazz on the Rocks scholarship concert series and civic fundraising affairs...
