Featuring a stellar band, this is one you don’t wanna miss! Joel Oroz is an adventurous Jazz Drummer and Composer born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. He began playing drums at age 5, and has been performing professionally since age 16. Throughout his development he has been inspired by drum masters such as Vernell Fournier, Tony Williams, Philly Joe Jones , and Elvin Jones amongst many others. He is currently pursuing his Master’s degree at Arizona State University under the direction of Mike Kocour, Dom Moio, and Lewis Nash. Joel is a proud member of Geocentric, Phoenix Afrobeat Orchestra, and various other projects around the Phoenix area.
