Bassist John Sims played his first professional gig at 16 and has since then thoroughly enjoyed playing music, whether jazz or classical. John was also honored to be able to perform at the legendary jazz venue the “Jazz Showcase” to open up for jazz master Benny Golson. Within the realm of music John also enjoys playing and teaching piano, arranging music, and composing originals.
