About
Area 25 is a jazz group founded by Mark DeCozio in 2012 in Phoenix, AZ. Personnel includes Andrew Gross-tenor Sax, Mike Ozuna-guitar, Mark DeCozio-keyboards, Mike King-bass, Todd Chuba-drums. For lack of a better term, their music can best be described as fusion; combining elements of Caribbean, Brazilian, Funk and Straight Ahead Jazz. They are just completing their first CD entitled Acaba de Llegar (Just Arrived). All songs were composed by Mark DeCozio and Mike Ozuna, and were recorded at Brick Road Studio in Scottsdale, AZ.
