Margo Reed is widely regarded as the icon of Valley female vocalists. She moved here in the mid-'70s and opened the door for the Reed family's relocation to the Valley, including her sister, Francine. Margo was inducted into the Arizona Blues Hall of Fame in 2004 and received the Jazz in AZ Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008.
