Phoenix trumpeter Jesse McGuire, who has toured with Wynton Marsalis and Tower of Power, will perform a Jazz Appreciation Month concert for Jazz in Arizona Inc., a non-profit jazz-support organization.
McGuire is widely known for his rendition of the National Anthem at NBA games across the nation. His sweet-hot sound has gospel roots combined with swinging riffs.
His special guest will be Phoenix vocalist Sherry Roberson, who regularly performs in Bangkok. They will combine talents for a Satchmo-Ella segment of the concert.
