Michael Wilkinson is an Assistant Professor of Music in Applied Trombone and Jazz Studies at the University of Central Florida (UCF). In Orlando, he performs regularly with the Brass Band of Central Florida (BBCF), and can be heard as a featured jazz soloist on the BBCF’s newest CD release, “15”. He can also be heard on Flying Horse Record’s newest release, “En Plein Air”, featuring the UCF Jazz Professors. At The Nash, Michael will be performing with some of his favorite Phoenix musicians in a project titled “Wilkinsemble”, supported by a grant from UCF.
