In celebration of International Day of Peace on September 21st. Music without borders is a concert of music from different countries to use music as a way of spreading love and peace. It features Pam Morita on vocals and piano, Wen Wu on clarinet and woodwinds, Allen Ames on violin and guitar, plus the outstanding combo of Ben Hedquist and Dowell Davis on bass and drums, performing an assortment of music from France, Brazil, Argentina, China and Japan, It will include classical, jazz and original music. The program will emphasize the power of music and how it transcends all boundaries when it comes to communicating love and peace in the world today.
