San Diego-based Paul Combs has been playing professionally as both a leader and a sideman for more than forty years. He currently leads a quintet devoted exclusively to the music of Tadd Dameron, whose biography, “Dameronia – the Life and Music of Tadd Dameron” he authored and published recently to coincide with the jazz legend’s centennial.
