The Danielle Cook Trio (Danielle Cook-vocals, Sean Brogan-bass, Emerson Laffey-drums)
Danielle Cooke is a native of Chandler AZ with a degree in Jazz Performance from Arizona State University. Her style could be described as contemporary jazz with impressionistic influences, both soulful and elegant. Whether she's putting her own spin on a classic jazz standard or playing her original pieces, she evokes a sound that is both lyrical and harmonically rich, with a driving pulse behind it.
