7:30 PM - 10:00 PM ; Tickets $15, $5 Students (25 & Under w/ ID). The Gospel Choir at The Nash is a community-based performing ensemble new to The Nash for 2018. Under the direction of Dr. Jason Thompson, and accompanied by Dr. Ashley Oakley, this is the culminating performance of their eight weeks of rehearsals. The popularity of gospel music makes the genre appealing to study and perform. The members enjoy singing in a gospel choir, and gaining the cultural knowledge, the social connections, the spiritual affirmation, the recreational enjoyment, and even the musical opportunities.
