Matt Williams is an accomplished jazz pianist and vibraphonist from Kansas City, MO. Hi experience includes over 14 years of studying piano and over 8 years of studying vibraphone. In addition to his work as an artist and performer, Matt has earned his Bachelor's degree from Arizona State University in Jazz Piano Performance. During his 5-year stint in Phoenix, Matt has also honed his teaching skills, providing numerous master classes, clinics and private lessons throughout the Phoenix area. In the years after receiving his bachelor's degree, Matt was brought on as an adjunct faculty member at Arizona State, to teach a Jazz Piano lab course to non-jazz music majors....

As a performing artist, Matt is quickly establishing himself as an important voice in creative music. In November 2010, Matt performed opposite legendary jazz saxophonist Benny Golson at the Jazz Showcase in Chicago. Other highlight performances include the Paradise Valley Jazz Party, Scottsdale Center for the Arts and Tempe Center for the Arts. In addition to performing, Matt also has over 3 years of experience hosting what many have called the best jazz jam session in Phoenix, AZ.
