Named after MC Escher's manipulations of 2D mediums, House of Stairs is a quartet of multi-dimensional jazz musicians that mix elements of pop and progressive soul with electronic instruments and looping devices. The band includes vocalist and loop artist Holly Pyle, Garrison Jones on keys and keyboard bass, Stephen Avalos on drums and Shea Marshall on a collection of instruments including bass clarinet, saxophone, harmonica, accordion and synth for added textures.
