Valley-based vocalist Khani Cole has been a fixture in the Greater Phoenix area since relocating from her native Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in the early nineties. Khani Cole’s Sonic Table is a celebration of her songbook presented through interesting and eclectic combinations of musicians and instrumentation.
The move to Phoenix sparked her very first album, Piece of My Soul, in 1996 on Fahrenheit Records, which featured jazz greats Brian Bromberg (bass), Joey DeFrancesco (Hammond B-3 and trumpet), and Marc Russo (saxophone), among others.
Cole’s follow-up release, Places, in 1998 became a Top 20 New Adult Contemporary (NAC) radio hit. She performed in twenty-eight U.S. cities and at some of the most prestigious music festivals and events throughout the country. She also made her first trek across Europe. Her most recent Expansion Records (Sony/3MV – UK) release, Lifetime, quickly ascended the European radio charts and picked up where Places left off....
