October 21st will be a celebration of the music of NY Puerto Rican composers and band leaders such as , Eddie Palmieri, Tito Puente, Ray Barretto, Machito and, also, the music of Miles Davis, Freddie Hubbard and Herbie Hancock… “These are some of my most important mentors and the music will be performed with a Nuyorican Jazz Swing” Valdes is a 26-year veteran of music performance who performs and tours with the Machito Orchestra, The Richie Cecere Orchestra, The Shirelles, The Dalton Gang and Donna Summers.
