About
The Red Mountain Big Band is based at Mesa Community College – Red Mountain campus and under the direction of Dave Bacon. The band is comprised of local professional and community jazz musicians playing great Big Band jazz, and having a lot of fun doing it!
The band features Craig Render on lead alto, Mike Krill on lead tenor, Mike Lake on lead trombone, John Wise on jazz trombone, Glenn Butler on lead trumpet and Rod Wolber on jazz trumpet. With a rhythm section of Dave Henning on piano, Steve Fitch on drums and Selwyn Reams on Bass.
