The University of Iowa Jazz Faculty Trio (The IJFT)
Dr. Damani Phillips-sax, Curtis Taylor-trumpet, Dr. William Menefield-piano, Corcoran Holt-bass, Lewis Nash-drums
The newly-formed IJFT consists of the newly-solidified jazz faculty of the University of Iowa jazz studies program. UI jazz has undergone some significant changes in the past 4 years and is quickly positioning itself to be a jazz program of rising national repute and significance.
