Pianist Caili O'Doherty's 2015 release Padme won NPR's 10th Annual Jazz Critic's Poll for Best Debut Album. She garnered an ASCAP Foundation Young Jazz Composer Award and recognition for her work as a composer and pianist from Downbeat Magazine.

She was selected as one of five female jazz pianists invited to participate in the inaugural Mary Lou Williams Women in Jazz Festival at the Kennedy Center and is a member of the Global Jazz Institute
