The Convergence Project ends the season with VJC Director, Eugene Uman's new compositions influenced by Latin, Colombian and funk rhythms.  The arrangements travel far from traditional structures, incorporating odd meters and musical language from jazz and rock. The Colombian rhythms keep their folkloric essence, and each musician is encouraged to add his own voice.
