Hailed by Downbeat as Best Graduate Jazz Vocalist, winner of ASCAP Young Jazz Composers Award, Kavita Shah performs at the Vermont Jazz Center celebrating her upcoming debut album "Visions."
Co-produced by Benin-born guitarist Lionel Loueke, it features traditional sounds of Indian tablas and West African kora interlaced with a jazz quintet.
Kavita has been called 'a masterful vocalist' by Sheila Jordan and 'a great singer' by Loueke.
