About

A Christmas carol concert. The repertoire includes both Polish carols and shchedrivky - Ukrainian folk songs associated with New Year’s rituals - arranged in an ethno-jazz style. The pieces tell stories filled with Slavic symbols and imagery. The vocalists perform bilingually, in Polish and Ukrainian, evoking the shared traditions of two closely related cultures.
