A longtime Portland favorite, Cheryl Hodge has often been compared to Nancy King, and Ernestine Anderson. Her music is an infectious blend of jazz, blues and R&B. Often seen performing with guitar great, John Stowell; this night features Cheryl at the piano/vocals, along with her favorite bassist, Dylan Hodge; a "monster player" in his own right. Cheryl has garnered more fans along the way with her 2016 album "Living Off the Grid" (One Woman's Odyssey). One of the songs from that latest album, "Senegal", was nominated for Best Jazz Song 2016 at the Hollywood Music In Media Awards.
