Elise Trouw has spent her life counting — stairs, steps, piano notes — finding rhythm and balance from an early age. That precision led her to drums, where she could participate without being the center of attention, until she began to sing. Known for her viral one-woman-band performances and genre-blurring musicianship, Elise released her debut album Unraveling as a teenager, performing on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and touring with Incubus.
 
Her new album, The Diary of Elon Lust (Feb 13, 2026), is a radical departure: a satirical concept exploring modern masculinity through the persona of Elon Lust, a mix of entitlement, charm, and performative niceness. Across 14 tracks, Elise blends humor, social commentary, and personal truth, from the lead single “All You Need Is Lust” to “The Perfect Girl” and “A Little Blood.”
 
“Elon isn’t a villain,” she says. “He’s familiar. Maybe even likable. He’s ‘just joking.’” This album marks the first time Elise feels fully free in her songwriting — still technically brilliant, still groove-driven, but boldly personal and fearless.
