JULIAN PRIESTER – One of the greatest trombonists to come out of the post bop 60s, Julian Priester has played with many artists including Sun Ra, Max Roach, Duke Ellington, John Coltrane and Herbie Hancock. Julian was awarded with a lifetime achievement award from the Grammy foundation. Upon presentation of the award by Herbie Hancock he said that Julian only knows one note, the right one!
