Lo Pony:Lo Pony is a queer folk group based in Portland, Oregon. Known for their intricate three-part harmonies, dreamy soundscapes, and quirky social media presence, the band has garnered a dedicated following, especially within the queer community. Their forthcoming EP, "Elephant Sky," is an exploration of loss, nostalgia, and a slow appreciation for the beauty of everyday life. This tender 6-song debut features their signature blend of delicate vocals and lush, expansive instrumentals reminiscent of the sweeping landscapes of the Shasta Valley region from which the songs first originated. Inspired by the ways visual and lyrical storytelling can intersect and inform one another, the record is accompanied by a trio of self-produced music videos that weave together themes of self-discovery, the concept of home, and the beauty of friends who find you in the darkness and hold you through it.
