Mark Simon has assembled a special edition of the Mark Simon Trio featuring two of the swingingest cats in town, bassist Ed Bennett and drummer Stu Cook. With these two anchoring the rhythm section, Mark will be free to get down to the serious business of romping away on a rare Monday evening at Ivories Jazz Lounge and Restaurant. Normally closed on Mondays, Ivories offers this special evening in observance of the Portland Jazz Festival.
