As one of the newer resident bands at Jimmy Mak's, The Christopher Brown Quartet has proven itself to be a group that will surely be around for quite sometime, as their ability to marry pop music from the 80's with the sophistication of modern Jazz, has made them more than relevant to both the masses within the city of Portland, and to the legacy of Jazz music.
