February 13, Secret Society hosts a Valentine’s Eve of cat-eyed soul and star-crossed love as Portland musicians pay tribute to the songs and voice of the great Amy Winehouse. Local funksters the Way Downs will back up Portland standouts Ural Thomas, Michael Jodell, Rebecca Sanborn, and the Way Downs’ own Devon Detweiler, on Amy’s biggest hits and finest B-sides, as well as some special surprises.
The Way Downs will kick things off with a set of their vintage funk originals, obscurities, and curios.
