The Weber Iago/David Valdez Quartet plays original compositions influenced by a wide range of musical styles, including Brazilian Bossa-nova, Contemporary Classical, Modern Jazz, Salsa and Gospel. The group also features two recent NYC transplants, Chris Brown and Chris Higgins, who both relocated to PDX in July . Brown and Higgins have both worked with some of New York City's top musicians and they are sure to shake up the PDX Jazz scene with their new energy.
