About

Bug Séance & PileupNovacaneNovacane is a product of its environment. Coming to you from Portland, OR in the Pacific Northwest, the band is a reflection of the diverse music scene it inhabits, melding together the current sounds of indie rock, alternative, post punk, shoegaze, and dream pop to name a few.
The band has been making a name for themselves locally since 2017. Their debut LP Novacane released in  2021 and stands as their most successful to date, earning 1.5 million streams across 8 tracks. The live show is where Novacane thrives. At the helm is singer/songwriter Dylan Latimer, who lives in a constant state of improvisation. The band’s performances are dynamic, theatrical, and forward thinking in ways they bring the best parts of their records to life and treat audiences with new interpretations they didn’t know they needed. Novacane is proud to have had the opportunity to play Portland’s most revered club venues with sold out shows at Doug Fir, Mississippi Studios, and the Holocene as well as WOW Hall in Eugene.Bug SéanceBug Seance is a 5-piece heavy/dreamy outfit based in Portland, OR. In its five years of existence, the project has evolved to become a thoughtfully crafted blend of hardcore, emo, post-rock, and shoegaze elements. Last year, Bug Seance had the opportunity to play with emo legends Algernon Cadwallader on their west coast reunion tour. Bug Seance has also played alongside acts such as Glacier Veins, Glitterer, Fred Mascherino (of Taking Back Sunday), MAITA, and Soft Kill. Since 2021 the Bugs have embarked on two west coast tours, a couple runs in Washington state, and a week-long east coast tour. Their upcoming EP promises to be their best work yet, professionally recorded in Portland and layered with twinkly synth lines, reverberating vocals, and distorted guitar riffs.Pileup...
