The Bucket List Jazz Fusion will kick off the first “Jazz in the Streets” event sponsored by the Seacoast Jazz Society on Friday, July 8, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. outside on the Vaughan Mall Stage in Portsmouth. This energetic band is based in Kittery, Maine, and performs in popular venues in the seacoast as well as the Portland and Boston area. In addition to “Jazz in the Streets” the Seacoast Jazz Society, a nonprofit organization, also sponsors an annual jazz festival, a spring lecture series, and special events as part of its mission to engage the community, support local musicians, and provide scholarships for young artists.
