Over a career lasting more than thirty years, David Benoit has acquired a reputation as one of jazz’s most innovative pianists, especially in the smooth jazz genre where he is regarded as a pioneer. He has released more than 25 solo records which have garnered several Grammy Award nominations, and is the Musical Director and conductor of the Asia American Symphony Orchestra in Southern California.
