Join us for a live performance by innovative, exceptionally talented vibraphonist, Nihco Gallo. In this live solo vibraphone performance, Nihco will explore a repertoire of songs from the jazz songbook and the traditions of Brazilian choro and Argentinian tango.

Nihco is an award-winning vibraphonist whose performances span the worlds of jazz, Brazilian music, minimalism, and the avant-garde. In addition to leading his own ensembles and solo projects, Gallo has maintained frequent associations with Chris Klaxton, David Newsam, Ayan Imai-Hall, and Sig Shalome, and performs regularly as a member Flying Home: the Music of Benny Goodman, and as a frequent guest with Portland’s Choro Louco.
