Elysium Furnace Works is thrilled to close out its momentous 2023 season with a solo concert by the consummate trombonist/composer/arranger, Joe Fiedler.

One of the first-call trombonists in the world who has been featured on over 100 recordings to date, as well as a music director for nearly 15 years for the legendary children's television program Sesame Street, Fiedler is also a master of brass multiphonics, a unique technique that allows a musician to generate multiple notes from a single wind instrument in real time. Building on his recent solo recording The Howland Sessions, Fiedler will close out EFW's 2023 season on a multiphonically high note (or is that "notes"?).
