Marty Elkins with the Saints of Swing

Marty Elkins (Vocals) has been singing professionally for many years, getting her start at Jimmy Ryan’s in the ‘80s with Max Kaminsky’s band, and has five CDs to her credit. Her recordings are well-received and the 2018 title, “Fat Daddy” was included on two “best-of” lists that year in Cadence Magazine and The Syncopated Times.

Pete Tomlinson's (Piano) debut album, “Momentum”, on the Compose label, features musiciansDick Oatts, Dave Douglas and Jimmy Cobb. Jazz Times Magazine says, “He’s talented, lyrical,imaginative, and swinging- all the necessary attributes of a fine pianist.”

David Winograd (Bass) is the Principal Tubist with the Hudson Valley Philharmonic Orchestra since 1973. He has played with such notables and varied groups as the American Symphony Orchestra, the Barnum & Bailey Circus, Les and Larry Elgart Big Band, Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra, Milton Berle, Robert Merrill, Wynton Marsalis, Van Cliburn, Nancy Wilson, Richie Havens and Pincus Zuckerman.

Larry Balestra (Drums) was a Music Educator in the public schools for 34 years and was responsible for helping to create the Ulster County All-County Jazz program. He has performed with The Ice Capades Orchestra, the Buffalo and Hudson Valley Philharmonics and the Woodstock Chamber Orchestra as well as many show and pit bands throughout the Hudson Valley and New York state.
