Marty Elkins was born in Jersey City, New Jersey but not finding not many other opportunities to sing up there, she moved to New York in the early eighties. Recently she has been performing at the well-known New York jazz spots Smalls, Mezzrow and the 55 Bar, the Falcon with “The Saints of Swing”, Jazz Vespers. She was invited to be part of the Jazz, Blues and Gospel Festival at the Las Vegas Hilton in 2103 and did a tour of Germany with the Martin Sasse Trio after the release of her first CD....
