The Squirrel Nut Zippers Jazz from the Back โO Town show is an intriguing look at the birth of Jazz through the lens of the prodigious musical neighborhood of New Orleans called Back โO Town.
Along with many of their own catalog favorites the Zippers perform a curated selection of music that inspired and informed the band. Along the way band founder Jimbo Mathus offers insights and orations on the multicultural melting pot that gave rise to jazz, and ultimately the Squirrel Nut Zippers.
