On Wednesday, December 9th at 5 PM EST, the American Symphony Orchestra presents 'United We Play,' a short film featuring three world premiere compositions for strings, jazz instrumentals, and piano by renowned jazz pianist and composer, Marcus Roberts. A response to the turbulence of 2020, 'United We Play' is a collaboration between Marcus Roberts, The Modern Jazz Generation, and the American Symphony Orchestra. This communal effort resulted in a film showcasing how music can help society to find strength through adversity and community through division.
