OCTAVIA (born Oktawia Kawecka) is a singer, flutist, composer and producer. Octavia possesses a distinctive and uniquely smooth voice, which lays bare her exceptional sensitivity and remarkable skill in creating a variety of emotions and atmospheres. Octavia is also hailed by music critics as one of Europe's most promising jazz singers.

OCTAVIA graduated from The Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, Poland, and received scholarships from The Alfredo Casella Conservatory in L'Aquila, Italy, and The Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome (C flute and opera vocals).
She has been awarded a number of prestigious Polish and international music awards and has been invited to perform in concert halls around the world. Awards include: The International 19th Jazz Standards Festival, The International Jazz Vocalists Meeting, The International Jazz Krokus Festival, The Krzysztof Penderecki International Competition Of Contemporary Chamber Music, The President Lech Kaczynski prize at the Hopes of Warsaw competition, The International Summer Music Festival Dziekanka....

In the Reduta Jazz Club, she will perform with her new British band.
