The Music of the Buena Vista Social Club meets Latin Jazz..Saxophonist Dan Moretti has assembled an all-star cast of musicians for this date at Chan’s in Woonsocket on August 29. Joining Dan will be Venezuelan master musician Bernardo Hernandez on Quartro and guitar, with Cuban Percussionist Jorge Najarro joined by Latin Specialist Steve Langone on drums and Dave Zinno on bass. The band will be playing an authentic mix of Afro-Cuban grooves and Latin jazz. Fueled by original music and covers this one time performance will take you on a journey created by this collaboration. Come to Chan’s on August 29 for a perfect way to end the hot summer with some Afro Cuban and Latin jazz.
