About
Alexis Cole's smokey voice and sultry treatment of jazz standards is reminiscent of Anita O'Day and Sarah Vaughan. She is the recipient of a Swing Journal Gold Disk award, and was a winner of the NY Jazzmobile and Montreux Jazz Festival vocal competitions, and a finalist of the Sarah Vaughan Competition. Alexis recently retired after two tours of duty as the lead vocalist for the West Point big band.
