Baba Yaga is a Rhode Island-based band known for blurring the boundaries of genre, while creating a provocative and sophisticated style of music.
While finding common ground in the jazz idiom, the members of Baba Yaga bring a unique blend of other styles to the bands sound, including rock, 20th century classical, heavy metal, funk, and experimental. The result is music that is beyond category, which both challenges and rewards its listeners.
