Legendary Guitarist Bucky Pizzarelli’s career has spanned over six decades. He began playing in the Vaughn Monroe dance band in the 40s. Bucky joined NBC as a staff musician in 1952, playing for roughly 15 years with Skitch Henderson and, later, the Doc Severinsen Band on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson. While working on The Tonight Show, he still found time to tour with Benny Goodman and perform and record with jazz greats such as Zoot Sims, Bud Freeman, Stephane Grappelli, George Van Eps, Carl Kress and George Barnes . Known as a side man and recording artist, he is recognized as an extraordinary rhythm player and chord soloist who was one of the first to master the seven string guitars. Bucky’s credits extend to his children. His sons John (vocals, guitar) and Martin (bass) are recognized as jazz greats in their own rights....

Bassist, vocalist, and composer Nicki Parrott arrived from Australia in 1994 to study with bassist Rufus Reid. She began performing at the Iridium Jazz Club with guitarist Les Paul, and as part of the Les Paul trio she has performed with guitarists ranging from Paul McCartney to Steve Miller. Niki has played with jazz luminaires Clark Terry, Michel Legrand, Billy Taylor, Dick Hyman, Terri Thornton, Diva, Marlena Shaw, Monica Mancini, Skitch Henderson, John Pizzarelli, Harry Allen, Red Holloway, Rebecca Parris, José Feliciano, Randy Brecker, Mike Stern, David Krakauer, Howard Alden, Randy Sandke, Joe Wilder, Houston Person, and Wycliffe Gordon among others. Nicki has recorded eight CDs and she has also performed in several Broadway shows including “Avenue Q”, “Imaginary Friends”, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, “Summer of ’42” and “Jekyll and Hyde”. She has made several television and documentary appearances including “The Gossip Girls”, “Chasing Sound” and “Thank You Les”, which recently debuted on PBS.
