Like Stravinsky's Rite of Spring, the music of John Coltrane and Eric Dolphy was initially criticized for stepping too far outside covention, even as broadly practiced in jazz as it was then. Come see what the fuss was all about as Leland Baker (tenor) and Dave Murphy (alto) present an homage to these two now widely acknowledged saxophone luminaries.
