Jazz is a Rainbow's annual summer project serving urban youth, this year featuring another original musical celebration: "The First Lady of Jazz: Ella Fitzgerald." This nationally acclaimed project features talented Providence area singers, actors and dancers as they celebrate the musical and historical Odyssey of one of our greatest jazz artists. Supported by local and national foundations as well as by musicians and music lovers throughout America, Jazz is a Rainbow is entering its third decade. In the space of just nine days of rehearsal, our cast learns every song, every dance and the entire script of this show.
