He teaches at the Berklee College of Music, Tufts University, and Longy School of Music. Frank Wilkins began playing piano in church, and brings a gospel and blues feel to his playing. He has performed with many jazz luminaries including Tyron Davis, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Kevin Eubanks, and Lavern Baker. For more than two decades Frank has spearheaded programs such as A Journey into Jazz and Eats and Beats bringing jazz music and history to students grades K – 12. Bassist Dave Zinno’s father was a pianist and his neighbor was the legendary jazz musician Dave McKenna. The younger Zinno studied jazz and moved to New York where he performed in the Pit Orchestra for Sugar Babies, wrote and performed music for national advertising campaigns, and played with and performed with Jimmy Cobb, John Medeski, Larry Willis and Sonny Fortune among others. He returned to his native Rhode Island performing with the legendary Bobby Greene, vocalist Semenya McCord, and Herb King’s Hemisphere Ensemble. He Teaches at URI and Brown University. Drummer Yoron Israel has produced five CDs and appeared on over 100 more. He is currently Assistant Chair and Professor of Percussion at Berklee College of Music.
