The Providence Y2K International Live Looping Festival is returning for a 3rd year to AS220’s Main Stage. 2 nights, 25 local, national and international musicians of so many genres, bringing a sound and visual experience for all audiences and all ages! The Y2K Festival Network has been celebrating music for 16 years, in over 36 cities in 12 countries. Providence is the first East Coast Festival city. The local talent alone is a reason to come and check us out. This year we have both new and returning players from France, Sweden and as far away as Japan and Pakistan, who just come here for the joy of playing, and to spend time in our beautiful city!
We'll have our usual public workshops and lectures, and we're trying to come up with some new and fun events for the younger loop fans! Why Not!
