Baldwin Auditorium

Baldwin Auditorium is located on Duke’s East Campus at the intersection of Onslow Street and West Markham Avenue. Designed by African American architect Julian F. Abele and first opened in 1927, Baldwin recently underwent a $15 million renovation, transforming it into one of the premiere small venues for classical music in the Southeast, with a capacity of 685. It is equipped with modern seating in the orchestra and wraparound balcony, and wheelchair seating is available on both levels.
