The world-renowned Brazilian singer returns to Vinicus Show Bar, the top Bossa Nova venue in Rio de Janeiro, to celebrate the release of her CD "Ithamara Koorax Sings Getz/Gilberto," on which she recreates the legandary "Getz/Gilberto" album with the help of such great musicians as João Palma (drums), Will Lee (bass), Sidinho Moreira (percussion), and the late Jose Roberto Bertrami (keyboards). The repertoire includes Dorival Caymmi's "Doralice," Ary Barroso's "Pra Machucar Meu Coração" and Antonio Carlos Jobim/Vinicius de Moraes' bossa anthems "Quiet Nights" and "The Girl From Ipanema."
