Ithamara’s arranger and musical director, Arnaldo DeSouteiro, for over 10 years has presented clinics about "Jazz and Brazilian Music: Interaction Along The Years" in the annual conventions of the now-defunct IAJE (International Association of Jazz Educators). As a producer, his curriculum is similar to Ithamara's bio, because he worked with Joao Gilberto (for over 20 years in concerts and recordings), Luiz Bonfa (15 years), Joao Donato, Claudio Roditi, Helcio Milito, Mario Castro-Neves, Bjork (on her first Brazilian tour), Hermeto Pascoal etc.
